WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?

The RGS ONE Chapter will be organising a variety of fringe activities for you to find out more about the cause and increase your participation. These will be publicised throughout the week, but here is a brief summary of events:

1. Wear White! – To show your support for the cause, everyone is encourage to wear white school-approved t-shirts with their culottes together with white Make Poverty History wristbands (or string/ribbons).

2. Coalition of Aid Fair
– Various student-initiated projects will be on display at the Koi Pond area for you to view and consider helping out in, or perhaps even starting your own! (Oct 16-17)

3. Sales Booth – Purchase Make Poverty History merchandise (wristbands, t-shirts, button badges, etc.) and let everyone know that you’re standing for something!

4. Movie Screening – Watch films about poverty issues (for free).

5. Handprinting
– Once you’re done adding your voice to the millions across the globe, add your handprints along your RGS counterparts’ on paper that will be made available on the day itself!

Very importantly, before the event, you can help us publicise! Blog it, change your MSN screenname to reflect it, talk endlessly in class – it doesn’t matter how you do it, as long as you do! You can find some online publicity material here :)
